Papermaking With Local Plants Workshop

Where: Kannally Ranch House
Cost: $12 per person; includes materials and Park entry fee.
Who: Adults and teens
Limit: Maximum 6 participants; reservations required at 896-2425.

Learn age-old paper-making processes. Make 6 to 8 sheets with iris leaf pulp and fragrant creosote-leaf inclusions, then learn how to dry and use your beautiful papers. Taught by artist Val Bembenek.

‘Lucy’s Afternoon’ Wine Tasting & Silent Auction

Where: Kannally Ranch House and Garden
Cost: $25 per person to include one bottle of wine.
Who: FOSP Members and their Friends.

Enjoy a sip of wine as you take in spring’s colorful blooms and vistas of the Galiuro Mountains, in the gentle air of late day. Entertainments include a Silent Auction, featuring two archival Kannally prints, as well as music. Wine tasting conducted by BevMo, with additional bottles available for purchase.

Proceeds to benefit Park operations and programs.

Making a Stab-Bound Journal Workshop

Where: Kannally Ranch House
Cost: $12 per person includes materials and Park entry fees.
Who: Adults and teens
Limit: Maximum 10 participants; reservations required at 896-2425.

Make two blank nature journals for note-taking & sketching on hikes, bird walks, etc. Easy traditional Japanese stab-bindings feature identical stitch patterns front and back. A variety of cover colors and patterns will make your books one-of-a-kind. Taught by artist Val Bembenek.
